About the Artist: Bill has been a welder in Memphis, TN since 1970; in 1988 he began blacksmithing. Bill enjoys working on "steel life" which creatively blends mother nature's beauty with the splendor and natural allure of steel. As you will see from his sculptures, these iron pieces capture a moment in time with all the elegance and durability of this artwork's foundation. Bill uses modern and traditional blacksmithing techniques to forge his artwork into lasting impressions for his customers. Artist blacksmithing has enabled him to use his talent and creativity to effectively capture the beauty and elegance only apparent in true craftsmanship. While he still works full-time in his given trade, Bill enjoys taking the time to work closely with his customers to ensure that they are receiving the piece they envision. Craftsmanship and quality is in the details and Bill's work is an excellent representation of the dedication and desire that true artist blacksmiths have for their trade. Bill creates everything from custom tables, lamps and fireplace accessories to nature scenes, gates, and sculpture.
