This is the first knife I made out of steel cable. It is a little coarse, but it has a nice random cable pattern. The sheath is hand made out of moose hide.
My associate and I hand forged this Alaskan Bowie knife from one inch steel cable. We added a little twist of .020" nickel wire to give it a little sparkle. ZOOM in on the blade to see the pattern. The sheath was hand made by some friends in the Blackfoot Tribe.
$750.00 includes handling and insured shipping.

"This sub-hilt fighter is hand forged from 1095 steel cable with just a twist of nickel wire in it. Brass guards, and carved buffalo horn for handles. The sheath is cowhide stretched over a wooden core.
It took 43 hours to complete the knife, and about 5 for the sheath.
